From Library Journal:
The title of this book is titillation. Blau, formerly of Prudential-Bache and Shearson Lehman, wants women to examine their attitudes toward self-reliance and money, and gives pointers on risk, record keeping, taxation, inflation, and life goals. Her claim that the reader, after a ten-page stocks and bonds chapter, can consider herself "a sophisticated woman investor" is hyperbole. Blau assumes the only way women get money is through windfall or divorce, thereby avoiding the questions of earning and saving. In the final two chapters, she finally offers solid advice about investment advisers and outlines a disaster plan for the unprepared woman. Still, an unnecessary purchase. BOMC alternate.
