Wylie argues that as business becomes more focused on facilitating rather than directing, changing rather than preserving the status quo, promoting diversity rather than homogeneity, women are poised to break the glass ceiling and come into their own. She surveys important topics such as networking, communicating, using power, and developing negotiating skills, successfully balancing anecdotes from executive women with sound advice on valuing what works for women in business and improving what doesn't.
