Grenade attacks. Land mines. Enemy fire. Casualties of war. Whether it's the military or Christianity, the enemy is ready to "kill, steal, and destroy." Without proper training, a soldier or a Christian will surely perish. Whether you are new to the Christian faith, or a seasoned veteran, the intentional discipleship process presented through Bible Basic Training offers foundational instruction that can lead to a lifetime of spiritual fitness. Bible Basic Training can be used as a "spiritual boot camp" to help you understand: The basics of Christianity and what it means to be a disciple of Christ. Why discipleship is not just "following orders from headquarters." It is developing a deep relationship with Jesus Christ. How establishing a firm foundation of prayer, Bible reading, and service in the local church will help ensure that God's soldiers are "armed and ready" for combat duty and prepared for a lifetime of service in God's army. And much more! There's more to the Christian life than mere survival. Bible Basic Training shows how God's weapons of warfare-his power, grace, and love-are available daily for those who desire to dutifully serve their "Commander-in-Chief." "If you are going to read one book to find or enrich your spiritual life, then this should be the one." -Mike Repass, Military Commander "I believe this is one of the best discipleship tools available today." -Roger Cotton, AGTS, Professor of Old Testament "Jeff and James Jay have an unwavering conviction that God's Word is the best source for spiritual direction." -John Fuller, Broadcaster
