About the Author:
Marian Edelman Borden is the author of 10 nonfiction books, including Smart Start: The Parent’s Guide to Preschool Education and The Baffled Parent’s Guide to Sibling Rivalry. She has served as editor and editor-in-chief of several parenting magazines, and has written articles for The New York Times, Christian Science Monitor, American Baby, Parenting, and other national and regional publications. Borden is the mother of four children.
